1500's had bad hygiene!
1-1-1 blog. http://www.historyundressed.com/2008/07/history-of-hygiene-bathing-teeth.html?m=1
I've read about the 1300's hygiene, and it isn't very good. In the 1300's people would at most take a bath once a month! That would be terrible B.O. All month. For brushing teeth, they would barely (if they cared about their hygiene) rinse there mouth out with water, or vinegar, and chew spices like cinnamon and mint. I thought that all of this was gross, and I think that they must've gotten used to all of that smell. I am wondering how they could've lived with that, and how they could stand someone smelling so bad because they haven't bathed in over a year!
